I've noticed lately there is a major controversy between using fluoride and not.
From what I've heard: Fluoride contains many heavy metals that can lead to autism in children, dementia in adults and can weaken anyone's immune system.
What Do I Believe?
Well, I do believe that fluroide contains heavy metals. Whether or not it is enough to harm your body? I'm not sure. I've heard of many cases where parents decline to get the fluoride treatment at the dentist for both themselves and their children. I have also heard that fluoride can actually cause more cavities than they prevent.
I have recently switched from a fluoridated toothpaste (Crest, Colgate etc.) to one that contains no fluoride or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, which is a main ingredient that is used in anti-freeze. This toothpaste is called Kiss my Face. Whether or not I have seen a difference I am unsure. I am a big baby when it comes to the dentist, so I have not been to one in a while, so I'm not sure if this toothpaste has prevented more cavities or not. As it is I need to have a few teeth worked on that I have been putting off.
I'm interested in other people's opinions. Thoughts? Do you currently use a fluoridated toothpaste?

Don't heat up your plastics!
Most likely, after supper you throw the leftover spaghetti sauce or leftover chicken in a plastic container and store it in the fridge until you eat it. Instead of heating it in a microwave-safe container such as a paper plate or a ceramic bowl, many would simply stick the plastic container into the microwave to be heated. Unfortunately, by doing this you are ultimately putting your health at risk. Not only does heating up plastic decrease the amount of vitamins in your food, but chemicals can be released from the plastic container and into your food. This is also true with plastic bottles. Leaving a plastic water bottle in the car on a hot day is very harmful to your health. Once you take only a sip out of that bottle, you are drinking many of harmful chemicals and allowing them into your body.
If you must heat up your food in the microwave, put it in a ceramic bowl or on a paper plate. If you feel the need to cover your food, if it splatters (such as spaghetti sauce) it is important to use a paper towel instead of saran wrap.

Hello World
Hello! I am writing this blog for several different reasons. Please remember that I am NOT a doctor, nurse, or anyone else that is certified for giving legal medical advice. I simply give out natural suggestions that have worked for me. For an example, if you are suffering from a common cold I will give you healthy suggestions of what you may want to eat. I can also help you find ways to improve your immune system, or suggest ways you can get rid of your mole that is growing on your right toe. Along with giving suggestions for physically advice, I also can help with emotional advice. I am very willing to share my stories in case there is anyone out there struggling from the same situation. I too, still have several emotional troubles such as anxiety that I hope to overcome...eventually. This blog was not made to make money but simply to help others and myself with problems that may arise in our lives. Along with me giving you advice, feel free to step in and give me advice too! That's what we are all here for, right? Comment, subscribe, etc. Let's help each other out :)
